EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY BUILT INTO EVERY SHUTTER:

MORTISE AND TENON JOINTS FOR STRENGTH
The industry standard for the joinery of stiles and rails has typically relied on just glued dowel joints or screwed joints. These will eventually work loose and cause the stability of the shutter to become compromised.
Mortise & Tenon joints are designed to allow for maximum glue surface, and will withstand shear and racking stress. This joinery has been used for hundreds of years in the fine furniture industry because of it’s superior strength.

NON-MORTISED HINGES
Non-Mortised hinges are important to achieve a tight fit within your window opening. Without a Non-mortised hinge, a gap appears on the hinge side that allows light between the panel and the frame.
The material from which our hinge is made is sufficiently heavy enough to prevent sagging.

MULTIPLE SEQUENCES OF HAND SANDING & ACRYLIC LACQUER FINISHING
We perform multiple sequences of sanding with fine sandpaper and finish with high-quality stain and paint. Our classic acrylic lacquer finish produces these characteristics: hardness, strength, UV-resistance, water-resistance and color retention.

TENSION ADJUSTMENT SCREW
The addition of a tension screw system in every shutter panel assures that whether the shutter is brand new or decades old, it will never become too tight or too loose to operate properly. By the slight turn of a screw inside the stile, the louver tension is either increased or decreased to ensure your shutter operates perfectly.

STAINLESS STEEL STAPLES
One of the most common problems with shutters is staple failure. We use extra-long stainless steel staples in the louvers and tilt-rod to insure that they do not pull out. The stainless steel staple is resistant to corrosion and moisture, which assures that the staples will last the life of shutter.

HIDDEN, RECESSED MAGNETS
We have revolutionized the use of hidden, recessed magnets which allows the shutter panels to close tightly while also providing a clean and streamlined appearance. No more ugly bulky magnets which fail under normal use.
